Wow, Abraham was impressive!

Also good to see an old warhorse like Marquez get another shot. Not sure if fighting Arthur is any prize though? Even if he lost to Mora, I doubt he'd beat him up like Arthur probably will/would.

wow I was totally off ... Abraham was impressive for about 2 minutes and that was enough. He really didn't throw any punches until the last minute of the third round ... but he has some wicked power with either hand. Funny how right when Bernstein said that Miranda hired a nutritionist and that is usually a bad sign, things went south for him.

They tried not to give the decision to Marquez ... good win ... if I am Marquez I drop to JMW and fight Mora ...

Yeah, I found that odd that Edison hiring a nutritionist was a bad sign too. I'm surprised Arthur took that fight & was so confident because I thought Edison might be stronger @ 166. As it works out, it's good Arthur won & remained unbeaten. Had Edison won, Arthur is still IBF MW champ but what would Kelly gain (aside from the IBF belt) by beating a guy Edison beat?

It's pretty safe to say Miranda will not get another opportunity against a top level fighter for a long time or if ever again. That being said he's an exciting fighter and will have a good career on the B level such as ESPN or FOX.

Abraham/Pavlik has to happen now. There are no other fights that are more attractive right now at MW.

Only way it doesn't happen is if Pavlik fights Calzaghe ... but if Pavlik and Abraham fight in Cleveland, I am making the 5 hour drive to go to it.

And that's what's great, after Arthur destroyed him, we have another superfight on the horizon again between 2 unbeaten big punchers.

Berto's also an interesting guy @ WW. I might knock out the next person who says boxing is dead because that person obviously doesn't watch the sport too closely.

That Lorenzo/Marquez fight was quite a war. It's a shame Lorenzo resorted to some dirty ****, which took some luster off the bout for me, but it was a highly entertaining fight.

You'd like to say it was just frustration from a young fighter .. but he isn't that young.

Marquez Lorenzo was a great watch...glad Raul is going out with a solid win like that toward the end of his career....the drubbing from JT made me feel really bad Rauls career ended like that.
