Old Timer's Fenech Vs Nelson 3 (spolier)

Just watched it - Not a bad scrap at all for these two old war horses ....in all honesty.

Fenech deserved the decision.......

To bad these two didn't get in on a third time back in 92/93........They should have.......Though Fenech never semed to mentally recover from his upset loss in their rematch........

St. Clair also lost on the undercard. Somewhat iffy decision there.....

Boy...reading some of the sports writers.....after report write-up's only furthers what a joke most in the news / writer business really are -

Fact is....it was a decent scrap for two old warriors going at it - Sure there were so slow rounds (hell there are in most boxing matches today)....but reality is they stood and banged plenty......fought in close...and Azumah let that big right hand go.......

Of course these guys weren't like in their primes.......but it was a decent fight.....some good action...and for the first time......I watched Fenech back away and get on his bicycle in the 9th round........

Bottom line...a good night of boxing.....with these two old guys putting on a respectable show. It wasn't for a title....it was simply for these two guys to get in there and settle old scores with one another....on a respectful level. Nice to see.
