Damn!.....Ali Funeka at LW looks like the real deal....

Big KO tonight......over Z. Raheem.....Put him down 3 times (or was it 4?)....in 4 rounds.....Dude is a tall drink of water.....and right hand looked good.......Reminds one somewhat of Caballero at JFW.....

I was wondering what Raheem was doing since his fight with Freitas. That's a big win for Funeka and a BIG loss for Raheem.

Nothing against Raheem but his biggest win came against a declining Erik Morales. He was dissapointing against Freitas and in his subsequent fights on ESPN so this doesn't come a surprise to me.

South Africa is vastly underrated when it comes to developing fighters. They always seems to fly in under the radar and then when they produce a big win like Funeka did........then they get noticed.

Similar thing happened when Thomas Mashaba TKO'ed Eric Aiken late in 2007. Even though he lost to Cristobal Cruz in his US debut, he is going to be a player at FW for the forseeable future.
