This is 'open source' if I can use such a term. I have left all the coding open for anyone with the skill to see. My guess is eventually someone will use the basics I have set out to create something spectacular for TBCB.

I have had a little play around with this and this is really excellent work, a great service to the TBCB community. Thank you and well done!

I take it, those with Office 2003 or earlier can't run this?

Currently not. Jade said he could make it work for us but it's a bit of a job so we'll have to be patient.

Suggestion

I don't know whether this is included but would it be possible to be able to remove /alter bouts from the scheduler? It would be handy if somebody did a career replay and wanted to take control of the fate of a certain fighter manually but have the scheduler determine the happenings for the rest of the universe. Or simply to give the user the ability to step in and protect somebody for whatever reason. Just some thoughts.

Yes this is already included. You can manually remove scheduled bouts, or add in any that you feel the need to add.

I am also getting the following message when i open the spreadsheet.

"Excel found unreadable content in "TBCB Universe Beta.xlsm Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook?

Then i get Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing unreadable content.

The workbook has lost its VBA project, Active Xcontrols, and any other programmability features

I just downloaded Excel 2007 so i am not sure if i need to update it.

I've managed to add my first few fighters, here's a question for the more experienced guys; is it possible to add like 50 fighters at once without clicking for each one. Really just a minor annoyance, I'm so looking forward to using this.

Unfortunately i think this is more of a labor of love for Andreas and i do not think there is much of a payroll.

With this thing, I can probably even play my fictional uni without ever having to look at fighter ratings in the spreadsheet screen. Sweetness!

Yeah, I had a little bummer myself. The records won't update correctly. Maybe I screwed up when I deleted the test guys.

Edit: figured it out, used the wrong column

Maybe i could get jade to a quick webinar where he can run thru the basics of his system. No cost to himself of course, other than his time.
