Don't rely upon me, but when I was setting up back in February, I had some jpg problems that were related to file size even though I had the pictures 140 x 140--the file content appeard to be too large. As I said, don't go on my say so. It could be something else.

There may be a chance that some of these .jpg files may be .bmp files that were just re-named rather than converted to .jpg. Might want to use a photo editing tool and save them all as .jpg files

That's the best way. Just right-click and select edit. When you go to save, look at the drop down menu and select jpg. Still, if I recall, when the file size was too large, there was a problem even if you had a 140 x 140 pixel jpg.

There are free programs floating around that will mass files to varius formats.
If you are going to do that for TBCB2.5, I'd suggest editing all to png format rather than jpg though. |

Chris, are you saying the game functions better with .png files now?

It does seem to. I have yet to have an issue with a png file while I have experienced similar difficulties to those mentioned with both jpg and bmp files. (bmp files appear to not work at all) And for those dolts in the audience like me, you have to use a program and convert them. Simply changing the extension will cause even more grief. Yes, I learned that the hard way. ![]() Christopher |

I use Irfan View, photo editing freeware. Not sure if it has a mass editing feature or not. Never tried to fo that.
