Hello, everyone. As some of you would be aware I recently decided to bring an end to my HBF/IBL universe in the Inside the Ropes section. However, I am planning on starting a new uni and would like anyone who is interested to be involved in it with the inclusion of a fictional fighter.

Over a dozen of you guys were involved in the HBF/IBL and I would love it if you would also like to be a part of the new uni. Below is a sign-up form I'd like you to complete in order for you to be included. Those of you who were in the HBF/IBL and would like your fighter to keep the same details, personality traits etc. that he had, please just put "as before" next to the appropriate category.

You'll see that I've asked for you to keep the age of your fighter under 30. I've requested this simply because your fighter will have a better chance of having a longer career if he's quite young when he starts. You are under no obligation to use your own real life details for your fighter.

Smooth character, calm and quiet until he steps into the ring. It is if a demon is unleashed. For a small HW his power is under estimated and if he has anything to say your going to sleep quickly. Doesn't talk smack outside of the ring and is never annoyed by those pressing him.

Most outstanding ability:
KO power and ring control is unexpected from this young fighter who loves to fight in small dorm rooms in college for fun. He loves to beat up on the Football teams lineman in his spare time.

Any extra info:
Very short amatuer career with only 12 fights winning them all by knockout. Never really been tested distance wise. Has yet to see round six in a fight. Last fight was in a toughman contest where we almost killed a 7 foot tall 400 pound giant with a nasty uppercut as the giant leaned over to swat at his body. Nice stepping stone to enter the PROS.

Personality traits: Outgoing, but with a dark and brooding nature that exposes itself when he loses or doesn't win by as much as he thinks he should.

Most outstanding ability: Defense and counter punching

Any extra info: Jonathan Slicksko emerged from the mean streets of Ukraine City to become a major force in boxing today. Ukrainian gang fighting involves a lot of counter-punching and running away until the other guy collapses from exhaustion. As such, Slicksko sees both aspects as the heart of machismo. If anything, Slicksko views a knockout as an unfortunate stopping of the damage he has inflicted upon his opponent. As such, he may not be a devastating puncher but he is no Maxie Rosenbloom either. In Title Bout terms, his biggest weakness might be a complete lack of Killer Instinct because the last thing he wants to do is let an opponent off easy.

In interviews, Slicksko has the uncanny ability to mangle even the easiest of American boxing cliches. He has been known to announce he will "give 18 percent" in a given bout, or that he won a particular match "because his opponent was sponsored by the Devil". He has a particular fondness for Edam cheese. Eastern Europeans know what he is talking about and as such he is very popular in that part of the world.

A very sunny warm boy whose good looks have made him very popular locally but maybe impinge on his training regime as he has become a ladies man at a very early age. Despite this he has something about him which people love.

Most outstanding ability:
(eg. KO Power, Control, Endurance, Speed) An all round skilled fighter despite his age his most obvious strengths are a surprising power which takes opponents of fguard, his speed and technique especially footwork and his ferocity when hurt.

On the downside he has been known to break training to see his numerous gfs has been rather strong willed and pig headed sometimes when asked to follow instructions and has had some trouble in his mateur career with counter punchers.

Any extra info:
Has had quite a freakish early life. Was adopted and bullied at school due to his good looks which forced him into boxing. He then had two tragedies to deal with his adopted mother died three years ago from various cancer related illnessess and his father who has had a strong influence on his career choices fell slowly into drinking more and more as he struggled to cope with his wifes death.
This made Ashley strangely an even more positive person on the outside as he threw himself into boxing but those that know him well sense a great sadness behind his laughing eyes.

The purpose of the opening ten posts or so will be establish for you, the readers, the circumstances and makeup of the world that the uni exists within. As the opeing post suggests it's a world similar to real-life but there will be a few differences.

Started boxing as a young teen and was quickly manhandled and dispensed of...sought out the help of veteran local boxers and learned skills to survive in the ring. Has such tremendous defensive skills that opponents will expose themselves trying to hit him. In his early years as he started winning fights he simply outpointed his opponents with a quick jab but over the last few years, intense training and work, Max has developed a deceptively strong left cross set up by surprisingly, ever-increasingly strong jabs . He tirelessly works the body and has a knack for late round KO's by simply wearing his opponents out and keeping them from breathing. Has broken ribs of more than a few opponents and has accompanied many of them to the hospital. Is genuinely well-liked by opponents, trainers, promoters, media...all except the real thugs and just mean-folk in the world.

Most people appear to be placing themselves into this universe. I had a fictional fighter in mind, but perhaps I should re-do the bio and use myself instead.

It's kind of tricky, because I've never fancied myself to be a boxer.
