Just went back and read page 5 too. I would definitely be interested in the 'management add-on' or whatever it's called.

I've got some ideas, but little skills. Definitely interested in helping out in whatever way I can.

Just an idea.
The developer has NOT given up on this

Suggestion: I would gladly set up a Joomla web site for this if somebody could be the admin. I need to rebuild the cornerwork web site anyway, so we could just use cornerwork.com. You could discuss things here on the forums and post the results and "boxing universe files" on cornerwork.
How does that sound? Anybody interested?

BTW, I'm very interested in algorithm for the scheduling and determination of the purses and all that stuff needed for the TBCB RPG. It would surely be a good thing to build and test something in some kind of "online boxing universe".

There is a thread on this in the troubleshooting forum "Text error on commentary"

Please add any feedback you have there if you would, never hurts to have an extra set of eyes.
Hi Lee, been there, done that!

I'm glad the developers haven't giving up on the game. Many people thought the game was dead in the water.

Andreas,

Exhanging universe files is a great idea. I and a totally fictional universe with RFG's in only 8 weight classes. I'm doing something like a contender format (on TV) to set up the top 12 that battles once every three months for a title then have a 12 group of "contenders" that may be eligible to fight for a title the following year and 12 journeyman/tomato can fighters where they fight a group of 12 more new fighters where they come up from amatuer tournaments (top 12 out of 32 advances). Also tinkering with a draft/lottery idea where the 4 alaphet soup groups (WBA, IBF etc) have to "draft" the new fighters. At then end of each year the top 4 fighters in each alaphet soup fights for a super champion the winner gets first draft pick out of the 48 eligible fighters. If those 48 that dare drafted do NOT make it out of the journeyman pool then they can become "free agents" and thus the group with the LOWEST overall points out of the 4 classes will choose first out of that group. So there is a lot of turnover out of the 24 top fighters in each class.

What I would love to see is RFGs on refs, judges, cornermen in other words everyone else that the fighters already cover.
