Trainers and Cutmen
Hi, I'm just wondering do the trainers and cutmen in TB 2.5 actually give a fighter an advantage or make the fighter any better? for example if Eddie Futch started to train Carl Williams would this make Williams a better fighter? Or is the trainer/cutman a purely cosmetic thing?

The better the cutman, the better the chance he'll be able to stop a cut than a generic cutman.
I had 2 prospects lose via cuts this past weekend but they never made it back to the corner for their cutman to work on. They were cut & the ref stopped the fight. In those cases, even the best in the world can't help that fighter. |

They can make a fighter better, although I don't know the specific details on how. Wish I did. Cutman can be the difference between winning and losing when the fighter is cut. |

I'd heard/read a good cornerman can give a fighter a better strategy & if the fighter is smarter, he's more likely to employ (higher % chance he'll listen/do it) it during the round.
