Cornerwork????
Anybody know anything about the fate of Cornerwork? When I try to go there its, "Object Not Found." Is it going to be coming back?
There have been alot of ratings in the "Inside the Ropes" and "Mods" threads since the last time something was added. It would be nice for old as well as new members to have these items centrally located and accessible. |

Will do! Still, I have a larger concern/interest. Between the Day Council and the fine efforts of John Dewey, we've seen a substantial amount of excellent ratings created. On top of that, Tosti and others have posted numerous pictures. All of these were done "post"-Cornerwork.
As it stands now, these gems are scattered throughout the forum. If Cornerwork is restored, we might want to consider updating the site with the above items. I know when I picked up the 2.0 and 2.5 versions of TBCB, the material at Cornerwork greatly enhanced my universes and made the game far more enjoyable. Eqaully important was the fact that the ratings and pictures were in one location and well-organized. So I avoided the hassle of hunting through past threads to add what I wished. Sadly, for we veterans, Cornerwork is a wee bit stale these days!

Cornerwork.com is a great resource to have. I think the site belongs to Andreas. I hope it returns in the near future.

Still down!
As of this morning, CornerWork is still down. It said to send an e-mail to the site administrator, and Andreas' address popped up yesterday morning. I sent him a note asking about the status, but have not heard back. I had written a few articles and posted numerous ratings and photos there that I wanted to back up ...
Hope it will be back soon! Happy Thanksgiving, all!

If the site does go back up, and it should, there still remains a real need to refresh it. As I said above, since the last time something was posted there, many members have contributed ratings and pictures. We really need some organization and consolidation for easier access to these items.

Cornerwork still seems to be down. It's too bad because that was an excellent resource. Maybe someone else can host a site where images can be grouped together?

A short time ago Cornerwork was hacked and out of operation. Andreas restored the site. Based on this past action it is likely that it will be resored at some point.

Any status report, Andreas?

I was managing the site for Gunsmoke for a while, but haven't been able to get on as administrator for months. If we can get it going, I would be happy to continue updating and uploading files.

This was a great resourceful site. It's sad everything for TBCB is slowly fading away......

As I've said, a lot of pictures and ratings have been posted here since the last time Cornerwork was updated. It would be helpful to old timers as well as newcomers if these data were aggregated and added to the original items that were at Cornerwork. About the concern over TBCB slowly fading away, in many respects you could apply that to boxing in general. The cruel truth is that boxing is slipping into the status of a "niche" sport. Outside of a few pay-per-views and its popularity with the Latino community, boxing has been pretty much overtaken by "mixed-martial arts." The best demonstration of this is how uncommon it has become to find a copy of The Ring ("The Bible of Boxing") on the news stands. |

I think boxing will be around for a long time. It's just that no one has brought that excitement to the sport yet...besides Pacquiao and a few others.
As far as TBCB it's the presentation and the time no one is putting into this game that's shying many away. It's like a step-child in the basement. I have advertise TBCB on other site and boxing fans love the depth this game has, but hate that this project isn't getting any attention. I hate Hockey, wrestling(todays wrestling), baseball and a hand full of other sports but if someone was to present it the right way in a game I and other people will buy the games. Title Bout Championship Boxing has a truck load of potential, but.....

I am working up something like Cornerwork. I hope to have it up and ready by the end of the weekend.
It will have downloads available of photos and fighter files. I will let everyone know when finished

Regarding Cornerwork, since it was mainly a fan site for TBCB, could it maybe be resurrected as a sub forum right here?

![]() The point is B & N is pretty much the only place you'll find them. Go into your local newpaper/convenience store and ask for The Ring. Most likely they'll think your either talking about the Tolkien trilogy or Wagner's opera cycle. |
