A long shot

I know it's a long shot, but has anyone rated late 70's/early 80's middleweight Leslie 'Sweet Lemonade' Gardner? If they have, I'd be really grateful if you could post his ratings. Failing that I wouldn't mind having a go at rating him myself. If I remember correctly, there was a post somewhere explaining how to rate the fighters. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks in advance

Ian.

I'm not certain if I have a personal rating for him--if I do, I'll send it along. The TBCB 2.0 manual has some ratiing guidelines that I follow. I also look at what John Dewey is doing and Dean's discussions in "The Rating of the Day Council" thread.

In the end, there's a good bit of intuition and subjective evaluation involved.

Ian
I had no file for him so I took a stab at him and posted him here

When I searched my data base, I couldn't find him. I might have lost him when my drive crashed last year. I did locate my notes, and the attached is what I had written down. To be honest, I can't remember if I had made any additional adjustments when I actually added him to the pool.

I just looked at what Bear posted which is somewhat different. Maybe you should just create a hybrid of the two!

I think your CF and HP may be closer to the mark, professor. His high ko rate was built on a lot of stiffs
