Ratings

Hello everyone,

I have started to experiment with the career stage and I had a quick question, which specific ratings are altered by career stage? Are different ratings altered in different stages? OK, that's two questions. Sorry and thanks for any feedback.

CAP, thanks for the feedback on my suggestions regarding sorting and board game info. As I thought it over, I realized that my desire for the board game info stemmed largely from my disdain for the current commentary in the game, the weakest link in an otherwise strong game. I suppose if the commentary were improved (as is planned) I would be fine with a running commentary.

Quick answer: yes, different ratings are affected in the different stages. Early stages tend to affect defense, control, endurance while latter stages tend to see slippage in movement, punching accuracy, defense (to a greater degree than early stages) and so on. End of career shows declines in almost every area. Power is one of the least affected areas, once it's developed. A good "test" fight is always Ali at the end of his career vs. Holmes in his prime, or Sugar Ray Robinson at past-prime/end (as a middleweight) vs. Basilio, Fullmer in their primes.
