Rules for Conducting Fights
As you can see by the continuous updates, TBCB is moving along at a steady pace. That doesn't mean that the release is imminent but we are making wonderful progress.
We have consolidated all the rules used to conduct a fight by not only the major organizations but also the minor organizations, state organizations and Indian Reservation bouts. We are considering having all the individual rule sets available and being able to be chosen and then inacted simply by one click of a button. If you wish a certain bout to be fought under the rules of the IBF, select it. If you want a bout to use the Unified Rules of Boxing, click on it. Whatever you choose will be the conditions under which the bout is fought. We'll also, of course, make every possibility available for you to select the rules of conduct that you want - a set that might not match any others that are now existent. Once you select those rules, you'll be able to label them and save them for future use. We hope this meets with your approval. Have a nice weekend . . .oh and check for a listing of Current Heavyweights being included in the upcoming boxing sim. They should be available tonight or tomorrow on the website. |

It will be the same concept in the role-playing game. You can select any of the rules of the contest offered, create your own Unified Rules for your league or taste. As far as "negotiating" - I suppose that would work if you were negotiating an entire SET of rules, not individual ones. For example, if the two fighters matched fought for two different organizations, I suppose that negotiation is a possibility or state vs. organization. We'll have to think about that aspect.
