Well guys its here, RELEASE DAY!

First off a massive thanks to everyone that has helped me get this far. It is not the end tho, I will still continue to make changes and fixes ready for the next update. So dont worry if your bug is not fixed yet. I still have a list of items to work on....

Here is what has changed since RC6:
- added current game name on main page
- fixed crash loading nation data
- fixed bug sorting by "has bout log"
- fixed update from pool bug with imported games having different division names
- fixed lock up when updating from pool
- fixed bug where rating records were not updated from pool, this caused fighters to be deleted as they had no ratings
- fixed bug where update from pool did not commit updated fighter changes
- fixed updating from pool weight filter
- fixed update for pool feedback counts which showed wrong record numbers
- fixed bug where personal history did not remember sorting order
- fixed fighter list not refreshing after mass edit
- added missing icons
- fixed crash on fight screen due to missing fighter nation
- fixed issue where trainer/cutman dont copy over when setting up fight
- fixed crash on fighters table when there are more than 32767 fighters
- fixed DQ being recorded for the wrong fighter
- fixed crash clearing fighters history when there are more than 32767 fighters
- fixed bug where creating a new game loaded the wrong seleted divisions
- fixed bug where RFG always created HW fighters when random selected

Here are the bugs I looked for but could not find:
- crash updating from pool with start/end year set to 1982
- importing 2.5 game - aging turned on even if it was not on in origingal 2.5 game
- when useing RFG nation names do not match nation selected
- RFG creates lots of 0 rated players

Now we will be announcing the game on Boxing fourms, webpages, game sties etc. SO please feel free to talk about the game anywhere you think it will be of interest.

This also means we will hopefully get some new members to our little community. Please help me welcome them and guide them through any issues they might encounter...

Paul: was the issue fixed where, if we wanted to see a listing of all the fighters in a particular division, we'd have to manually move or duplicate fighters who compete in multiple divisions? Otherwise, if I go from scrolling through middleweights to scrolling through welterweights, I'll find Robinson, Hearns and Leonard in one division, but not the other. The fix I'm looking for is to have those fighters appear in every division they compete in. So, if Robinson is a 15 at welterweight and a 14 at middleweight, he would show up in both divisions with the applicable rating. The downside of not having this option is it makes setting up tournaments and head-to-head matchups much more difficult, since the top fighters you would normally look for may not be listed in a particular division.

Did you fix it so I can find all the red-haired left-handed boxer-punchers with green eyes? This is essential to my red-haired southpaw green eyed boxer-puncher universe. Also need to fix the bug that doesn't allow the game to do everything else for me. Please stop all work on TB3 and fix these.

I have a quick question about Title fights. Is it possible to have more than one Title on the line at the same time. I was trying to do a unification bout and could only get one to work at a time. If this has a work around or has been asked before let me know!

You need to press the "Shift" button from the keyboard and click in the other title!!

Great update - Thanks, here are some I have tried successfully right away!

- added current game name on main page (NICE)

- fixed bug sorting by "has bout log" (NICE)

- fixed bug where personal history did not remember sorting order (GREAT)

- fixed issue where trainer/cutman dont copy over when setting up fight (AWESOME)

- fixed crash on fighters table when there are more than 32767 fighters (GREAT)

- fixed DQ being recorded for the wrong fighter (ANOTHER IMPROVEMENT OVER 2.5, PERFECT!)

- fixed crash clearing fighters history when there are more than 32767 fighters (NICE)

Overall these improvements really make this version ready!

I use scheduler a lot and the one that still bugs me is when manually scheduling fights the date, number of rounds, rules etc. does not stick. So for example, I go into scheduler and set up a bout between Tommy
Morrison and William Muhammad using WBA rules, 6 rounds and date of 01-08-2010. Then I go in and create a new bout for Tommy Morrison vs. Tony Dewar. I would like it to automatically show WBA rules, 6 rounds, date 01-08-2010 etc. It always defaults to current date, 12 rounds, etc.

The other thing I have noticed is responsiveness is very slow. It seems to use about 6 times the memory the previous version used when looking at task manager. When I click just about anywhere there is about a 15 second delay before it pulls up. This happens when I try to pick a fighter from my list of boxers, add a fighter to a bout, click on my fight history, etc. It actually says (not responding) in the upper gray bar next to where it says Title Bout Championship Boxing for about 15 seconds before completing the action. I have not heard anyone else complain about this? I have a brand new computer with 16gb of ram. I do not have this issue with 2.5. I have a large universe with almost 33,000 fighters. Any ideas?

Thanks for the info, but where is the "select button" On the start fight screen I click on the title fight tab after choosing the fighters, and I click on the Title and then when I click on another Title it replaces the other one. I know I'm missing something but not sure what.

Just ran a fight card in new version. When completed I pulled up 1 fighter and went to personal history to look at fight record. When done I clicked the little right arrow to go to next fighters history. When I clicked it required me to save. When the next fighter came up there was no fights under personal history even though they just fought. Now I look at all 6 fights from the fight card show in the history of 2 fighters. The fighters records are correct but the history is completely wrong. I see Josue Blocus Vs. Russell Pugh 6 times even though they only fought once. I went back to the main screen and clicked on History and same thing, no other history fights are showing, just 6 of the same fight (With different results on top of it)??? Again the fighters records are correct. Paul, I have done nothing else and can send you the saved game if you would like to take a look at it.

Yes please... thats most bizarre... dont forget to put a comment in the email as I have got loads of saved games now and can;t recall which bug goes with while saved game DOH!

I know exactly what this is... you have a LOT of fighters, the the system pre-allocates individual screen objects for each cell. This give great flexability and control, but does not handle big tables that well. I am going to create a new simpler, faster more streamlined table to fix this issue as well as the "always use scrollbar" option as they are the same problem.

I have this on my master list, it would indeed be a very useful thing to have... Maybe I should add a "current" or "all" setting so you can choose how the search is conducted... The biggest issue is where I put that control, its getting rather busy at the top of that table...
