2 questions for Jim

hey there....I am getting so psyched for this....I go back to the Lance Haffner days and love tf2001 warts and all, so again I'm psyched! thank you! 2 questions though......can you copy info from tk2001 to the new game? i.e. in my "universe" Oscar De La hoya has the WBA and WBC jr middleweight belts and is 7-0-1 within the game , 40-2-1 overall. (as i started the game by inputing his record as 33-2 which he was when I received my copy of tf2001) he has defeated among others Fernando Vargas and Winky Wright. can I copy this info of fight history and ring record into the new game or will I have to start over?

also, any chance the game can/will be loaded with current and archived ring records? I manually researched and input all fighter records last time around as I wanted fighters to be what they really were, i.e. Oscar at 33-2, 27 ko not 0-0, 0ko. It took FOREVER though! in your research to rate fighters do you have their ring records handy? could they be plugged in to their stat section or posted on this site? or am I the only crazy person playing this game that thinks this is important? thanks for any insight into this, and thanks again from all of us for creating a real game for passionate fight fans. I wish you much profit!

Jim,

This is my first post. I think the betting option should remain in the role playing side allowing you to bet on the fights.

I'm a bit dissappointed that no screenshots have yet to be posted to the web site!!!.

Will this game be out before the summer as originally it was due at end of Jan at the latest according to the old website.

Cheers

As i said Andy
It sounds ok at first to keep asking for new stuff to be included in the Game as many have.
But all you in fact might be doing is pushing the Game BACK BACK BACK.
I would sooner see later on an add on made, and sold to us at a small cost.
If some want a betting option fine -- but not my cup of coffee :-)
Lets just get the bloody game LOL

I have asked Andreas, the programmer, to address the issue of what will and what will not transfer from TF2001 to the new game and he assures me that he will. He also assures me that he will be able to allow a complete transfer of all previous data, including added fighters, histories, etc.

Hey guys,

We will have multiple databases in TB which you can switch whenever you want too. It's similar to the multiple leagues in OOTP. Each database will be a folder in your file system, containing all data. So you may have multiple "universes".
One of them will of course be that one which you receive when you purchase the game, with all currently rated fighters.
Then you may add own databases for example to import your current TF2001 database!
It will be possible to import fighters and of course with all their ratings.
It will be possible to import their fight history.
It will be possible to import fights.

Surely we'll have some new "fields" which will we filled with default or average values during import of old data.
