Title Fight 2001
I have a copy of title fight 2001 which i think is superb. However, i have the same problem as some other users. I have upgraded my computer to windows xp and since then have a lot of games etc on it.

I can't install my copy of title fight due to my version of windows. I am aware of a patch for this which i know i can order. However due to the forthcomming new version and the fact that when i purchased the orignal i had to pay another £8 due to customs tax i am unwilling to do this.
What i am asking is this..... Can a windows xp fix be put on the website for us poor users who have xp to download so we can install the orignal and continue to enjoy the first game before purchasing the next one. I think this is a fair gesture. |

Hello Andy
I think thats a fair comment to make asking for a XP fix to be provided, as it can hardly damage sales of the old Game. I checked your profile out to see if it gave me a clue to where you are in UK but when i saw with all respect meant, you were a PC i quickly ran off :-) Only joking Andy i am sure you know, to old to run anyway. To be serious, yes i agree the tax is out of order.I have both win98 and XP versions so cost me double the tax almost I realise you cant disclose your address Andy. Hello Danny,
Very Funny. I live in the south east near London. No i hope Jim answers this question and provides the fix. If he does not then ill jut have to wait for the new game but i must admit this is so frustrating and ive got so much stuff on my computer now that if ill do another install of xp id lose the lot and reinstalling takes forever!!!. Ill just wait and see what is said. Oh by the way did you watch the jones ruiz fight. I purchased it on Sky and went out and found it did not record. Very annoying!!!. Cheers Andy |

re
Andy
I lived in London for nearly 30 years. NW2 area Childs Hill, quite near Hampstead Heath. My brother lives in Dollis Hill. I now reside in Essex, place called Corringham, must only be 5 miles from Basildon my nearest sort of larger town. Grays is about 8 miles away from me. I am about 14 miles from Southend on Sea. If you have a friend near me maybe i could lend you my version of 2001 Title Fight XP to put on your Comp as it runs without having to have the CD in the drive. I am now retired from work Andy, so if if you wish get in touch with me. drop me a mail at wildhawke11@aol.com Maybe we can sort something out. Better still Andy send a full team round. lights flashing, the whole works. brighten up my dull life a little give my neighbours something to talk about for a while. Cheers Andy. PS Jones v Frazier a REAL Heavyweight Champ who also threw punches in bunches would have seen a different result :-) I mean standing still centre of Ring letting Roy dictate. Ali would have had time to go for a coffee while fighting Ruiz. OK Andy i promise no more of my little jokes. |

My computer crashed the other day and i had to do a complete format and re-install and while i was at it put title fight back on so problem solved. Cheers anyway mate. |

We are looking at the possibility of posting as a download the XP Installer for TF2001 on www.title-bout.com.

It'd really be appreciated, Tom. I never requested the updated CD after I moved to an XP system for much the same reason Andy did - I got an ugly customs bill when I bought the game originally, and didn't want to pay it again for a free update.
