Fight Result Format
I just ran the autoscheduler for the first time.
I set the thing for Heavyweights, but noticed a few guys from other weight classes in the set-up. When the bouts were over, the results came up and I didn't like what I saw. I had to scroll down to see the result. This is a glaring mistake. I don't care what anyone says on this point. The first thing you want to know after a bout is fought is who won. Maybe it's me, but I find this really annoying. Just like the downplaying of who holds what title. It should say, for instance, Frank Slavin KO'd Joe Goddard in 10 Rounds, on the very first line. This is obvious, so obvious, I can't believe someone like me has to point it out. As for the title thing, I have to say again, that a picture of the title belt should appear in the fighter's Stats sheet (which should be the first sheet that comes up) and should appear below the fighter's pic whenever he appears on screen. The fight pic, of course, should be accompanied by the name of the organization it represents, at least on the fighter's Stats sheet. These things seem to be plain common sense. I like 85 to 90 per cent of TBCB as it now stands. It's an awesome piece of work...in progress. Keep at it. Don't let me discourage you; as if. These things need to be addressed at some point in the not too distant future. After all, fight results and titles are essential elements of the sport you're trying to simulate. Cap the Curmudgeon Oh, yeah. Happy New Year everybody! (grumble snarl mutter cough)

Perhaps you can understand now why i would have given it an 8 out of 10 if i was reviewing the game, but i did add when patched a 9.
Its a great game soon to become once patched correct, a Classic |

I agree to a point
I love this game, But I think there should be more empahsis put on wheather or not it is title bout, it shouls show on screen what is in the balance. But by no means do i feel as strong as you thats it is major problem.
But i give this an easy 9, with the chance to be a 10 within a year. Kevin Can't wait for next patch |

I agree with your comments both regarding the scheduler & the titles. Even a smaller number of fights with the scheduler requires too much effort to learn the results. Running a large number of fights and checking the results is downright burdensome.
Your comments on the titles are right on, and would add that a title history page would be a huge benefit toward making the title aspect of the game more user friendly. |
