quick question on this game
does this game...also generate and make fictional boxers for you, and randomly does the rating for your fictional boxers....
for example can i tell the game to make 16 fictional boxers all heavy weight.....then have them fight each other in a tournment, etc....then u can get an ultimate surprise who will win, etc.. am i wrong in saying tha the real boxers in this game 3000+ its too easy to predict who will win when u them boxing? can u match different era boxer with another different era boxer and have them fight? is there alot of replayable value in this game.... thanks |

Because the game is text-based, it flies. I've never encountered any speed issues.
I have had two loading-time issues, but I was running Windows Movie Maker AND LimeWire at the same time. Both those programs, especially Movie Maker, just eat resources left and right.

Try running the non-directx version. I noticed on my machine a speed increase. The auto sims now finish at a blink of the eye where it used to take a few seconds.
About the predictions... Fights that should be easy to predict are for the most part. Fights that shouldn't be easy to predict usually aren't. If your ever dissatisfied with the results you can always auto sim like a 100 fights and see where you think the hole in the rating is. You can then go modify the fighter to be what you think the rating should reflect. The ratings are a delicate balancing act that the Trunzo's seem to do quite well, but it is all objective. -BT |
