Buying From The UK

Hey...

I'm going to be buying from the UK and was wondering about prices.

Is it just a straight conversion form the $35, or is there some kind of shipping or 'hidden cost'?

Thanks.

Red Sox fans are not allowed to play...........no matter where you live

We have a lot of UK players, I am transplanted myself but have been in the US for 35 years, I am sure one of the crew can help on that.......If you do the download there should be no additional cost though.

There could be a fee by your bank for overseas payments. It's like 1.5% for me, so no big issue. As there is no shipping when you download the game, there'll also be no shipping costs

I bought it from the UK and my credit card bill only showed the $35.

Yeah, the best way to prepare for defeat is good humour.

I played a season in Nic Antoine's Legends of Baseball back in 1998. Had a heck of a time and did pretty well in that 30-team league.

No point in ordering the game on CD as you still cant play the game without applying for the license.
Plus you still need to download the patches or any add-ons anyway.
So why pay the extra £10 or 15$ (not sure what the exchange rate is)

When i bought the two copy's of the old Title Fight 2001 on CD from USA i also had to pay custom tax, in my case that was another £19 on top of the games price, i also am in UK.

Now if you could buy the CD with the game all patched up and a lifelong code on the CD that's another story. But they wont move in that direction at least for the near future because of costs.
If you can why not download it and burn it onto a CD.

Thanks for the info man.

On another subject, what form does the E-License come in. Is it e-mailed to you or something?

When you first start the game, a window will come up that
will allow you to either purchase the game, or enter in a
license/order id for the game if you previously purchased it.

When you purchase the game I do not believe you have to
do anything, it should update itself. You will get an email with
the neccesary info that you should print so you have it in case
of computer problems, and also archive the email somewhere.
The only time you will need it is when you are installing on a
second computer, or reinstalling the game.

I never before have had to licence a game, and i was a little concerned i have to admit, but its dead easy. The important thing is though to write or print your licence code number out. Don't i repeat DON'T just have it on your computer as in case of a bad crash and you have to format your machine you have no record of your licence number.
Cheers
