How to make use of exporting fighters...
I've been trying to figure out the best way to share fighters via CornerWork.com....
What if, for each weight division, a master download was offered (containing all the fighers). New fighters will have individual links that will stay on the site for about a month (on the front page - no more encyclopedia). Once that month has passed, the only time you can get that fighter would be to download the master zip file for that weight division... Any ideas/suggestions? ![]()

The first part of the master download for what is already on the site would not work well for me as I already have most of the fighters currently on the site. This would mean I have multiple copies of fighters if I tried to pick up the ones I had not got round to copying into my database.
The second part of the suggestion for new fighters rated would work well I feel. As this gives everyone enough time to get the individual fighter before he gets put into the divisional download. rgds Dean |

To make the master download easier to handle, perhaps you might split each weight division into eras. You know, say:
1880-1910 1910-1940 1940-1970 1970-present Anyone who was doing a historical replay or who was interested only in the fighters from certain eras wouldn't have to import all of a division's fighters at a swoop, then.
