Boxscribe;
Do you think Booker's ratings should be higher or lower. Don't want to debate. I used to live near his hometown, and I'm just curious what you think.

Hey Boxscribe,
If you would please post that photo of Cocoa Kid, I would appreciate it greatly. Or send to cubedrum@yahoo.com. The format is 140x140, but I would actually prefer the full sized photo scan. Thanks Cube

I have altered Bookers ratings in the game and tested extensively against other fighters. The only thing is, I can't remember what the original ratings were!
I feel he should really be rated as a middleweight. He spent the later part of his career at light-heavy after starting at welter. Like Charley Burley, Booker fought out of his natural class on a regular basis and was good enough to KO genuine light-heavies and up. His punching power should be more highly rated, as should his CF and his intelligence - Booker was a very accompllished and smart fighter - a master counter-puncher. Also he was never stopped in over 70 fights (30+ KO's). I researched Eddie's record for the Cyber Boxing Zone (CBZ) and Boxrec. I also wrote a bio for the 'Black Dynamite' section of CBZ. Eddie was one of the most underrated fighter in boxing - also one of the unluckiest. Check out his record. Cube, I will send the Cocoa Kid photo ASAP. |

Tiger Wade
Does any one have photos of Aaron 'Tiger' Wade or Harry Bobo. The one I have of Wade is from a newspaper and not great and the one I have of Bobo is with Billy Conn and both are wearing suits.
boxscribe@blueyonder.co.uk Willing to trade photos. |
