a poll
It has been implied that Jim and Tom's system over the past several years will be tarnished if the 1 point system turns out to be more accurate. Just wanted to hear from you guys and get your opinion on this. Thanks.

No, their board game had increments of 1 and that was fine, I don't see why there would be a negative impact of using increments of 1. Maybe they deemed it not necessary to do in the computer game, but if it turns out for the better, it improves an already good product. The increments of 1 is something we the users of the board game became comfortable with. I think I remember Ezzard Charles for instance being a 1-45 in punches landed and Corbett being a -5 in defense. I thought I remembered defence going up to +8 in the board game is that correct?

In the board game HW Ezzard Charles was a Punches Landed of 46.
Corbett your correct, was a defence of -5 his PL was 45. The defence went from -6 to +6 in the game. Cheers Danny Sorry i forget to add. In no way would Jim's image be tarnished by any changes, we live and learn all the time. Its called progress ![]() Last edited by wildhawke11 : 04-01-2004 at 08:11 PM. |
