Knockdown Rounds

Hey all---I'm still seeing dam 10-9 rounds being scored in rounds when a fighter is knocked down!

This makes me sick. . . I thought it was taken care of in version 1.2.

Example

Mayweather vs. Freitas II----

Freitas floors Mayweather in the second and two judges score the round 10-9 for Freitas----and before you get started, no Floyd did not come back in the round. The final score was 26-5!

How is that not 10-8?

Ok--so here is the final score 114-113 Floyd, 114-114 (x2) another draw between these guys.

But Freitas should have won if the judges scored correctly.

It seems I get to many 10-9 rounds after a kd also, And many 10-8 rounds after 2 kd's.

I would rather the game automatically score a round 10-8 whenever a knockdown occured then the scoring system for knockdowns that is being used now. Automatically deducting an extra point for a knockdown is not always what happens in fights, but it's more realistic than the current system.

I'm just not seeing this. Very rarely do I see a 10-9 round when the loser of the round has been knocked down. I'm also seeing 10-7 rounds and even a couple of 10-6 rounds. I'm even seeing 10-8 rounds when no fighter has been knocked down...which is good. This is just my opinion, of course, but I've been very pleased with the scoring of rounds and the scoring of fights. I had been thinking that this area of the game is very solid.

I'm definitely not saying that you guys are wrong. I would not presume to do that...but it's interesting that you are experiencing this. I'd be interested in hearing what others say about this.

The only time I've seen a 10-9 round after a KD is when the round was close. I have not had this issue either.

I'm glad that it works for you guys---but really, on mine, it's unplayable.

And yes I'm using version 1.20.

I haven't had any problem with the scoring after knockdowns. It seems I get the proper 10-8 and 10-7 rounds when they should be scored that way. Although I haven't had any 10-6 rounds.
Maybe people who are having a problem should download the patches again. That's what I would try.

I too have been obtaining appropriate scoring for the most part. The 10-9's have occurred maybe a little bit more than in real life, but in my game playing it has been a vast improvement over the pre-patch scoring.

I'd have to say I used to see a bunch of that but not very often anymore. My assessment is most like Maxx's .
