Just About to Purchase - Latest Fighters

In a question that is liable to have been answered ad nauseum previously (but I'm at work so searchin' is gonna be a little bit of a hassle, please bear with me).....

As a long time Trunzo guy from WAY WAY back I think I've waited long enough to let the new version get its wings unfurled and I am about to jump back into the fray....

Simple question(s) -

If I order the sim today will it include the very latest fighter ratings and patches or will I need to download new ratings after downloading the game?

If I decided instead to buy the sim on CD ROM, same question - very latest fighter ratings/improvements to .exe included or would a further dowloading be necessary?

The game will have everything through patch 1.3.1, which is actually version 1.4, and the Trunzos and Andreas have done a great job of updating, correcting and tweeking where needed. The game was good to begin with, and is now considerably better.

As to fighters, they have updated active fighters twice since December to add to the 3,700-plus in the game originally, and those updates are in the game. Hundreds of additional unofficial fighters are available for download here and at CornerWork.com regularly. No worries on that front. Go for it!
