A Funny Thing Happened

After complaining about the cut situation I was completely surprised to see two things happen when recreating the 6-19-04 card with bouts featuring Taylor and Barerra.

In the Taylor fight, Marquez had a cut reopened underneath his eye. The original happened in the 3rd, the second one happened in the 5th.

But best of all, in the Barerra Ayala matchup, Barerra was cut by an accidental headbutt in the first. In the ninth round, the cut was reopened by Ayala's jab which caused the ref to stop the fight and go to the cards.

WOW! Creepy.

i had posted something about this earlier, it seems it is very rare but does happen
