A question for Andreas or the Trunzo's. The silence must mean you are hard at work on the new RPG

Just wondering what may be in store for the current version in the future in terms of possible updates, tweaks or enhancements.

As an aside, I have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of time I continue to play this game as there are so many possibilities and it allows the user lots of room for imagination. This is definitely the first computer simulation that does justice to and even surpasses the classic Boardgame, even with the minor issues that still exist I have more than gotten my money's worth from this great product.

Totally agree, Lee. Even I can't believe I got my hard-earned siller's worth out of this game.

Now, as I have a few minutes of my life to waste, I'd like to make one or two comments:
1. I just discovered the print titles option. Set-up looks good for the most part, but note to designers: What's with all the blood-red? With Baseball you think of wood (bats), leather (gloves) and green grass. In boxing you have leather (gloves and shoes), ring ropes and canvas, and even the silks or colours that old time fighters wore about their waists. These elements could easily be incorporated in the game's design to tone down the slopping buckets of slippery red. How about colourful bunting draped in the upper corners or something?
2. In the titles section and elsewhere, the fighters are listed last name first. Is this really still necessary?
3. In the "Fight Options" screen of the Start Fight section there is room to reconfigure so as to allow small pics of fight venues.
4. The game is called Title Bout Championship Boxing and it has a huge title belt for its logo. Where are the (enter nasty word here) title belt pics? There is plenty of room under individual fighters' pics for at least the undisputed world title belt. That ominous sound you hear is the angry villagers with torch and pitchfork milling about outside your castle walls.....
5. I couldn't figure out why Martin Burke was ranked #61 in the "Fighters" section of the game, but #56 in the "Titles" section. Then I noticed when I sorted my heavyweights by rank in the "Fighters" section, there is no number "24" or "33". When I sorted the heavies and light heavies together, I discovered there is only one 24 (in the light heavies), three 32s (two heavies), one 33 (in the light heavies), and only one 34 (heavyweights). Does anyone understand what is going on? Please tell me when you do.

So, to sum up, more colour diversity in design, list fighters like normal people, include venue pics and Title Belt Pics!, and rankings are weird....

The diversity from the fighters to the titles rank is due to fighters without the 10 fight minimum to not be ranked in the titles section, but they will be ranked in the fighters section. As for the ranks of fighters, there would be two 33's if they had the same amount of performance points earned over the last 10 fights. As for missing ranks, they aren't actually missing. Lets say you have two fighters ranked 99 in a 100 fighter universe. There won't be a fighter ranked 100 at that time because fighters 99 and 100 both have the 99 rank. Hope this clears some of your questions up.

So, Mudster, what you're saying is the reason certain rank positions appear to be missing is that two fighters have exactly the same performance points. What about the missing 24? There is only one heavy with a 23 ranking in the "Fighters" section. Next guy is ranked 25. Why is no heavyweight ranked 24? Please have pity on my poor old brain, cause even when I was young, math was not my strong point. Had to get by on my looks and charm.

I've had the same problem, I think what you've done is retired a fighter who used to be in that rankings list. When you retire a fighter, for some reason, they retain their ranking position on the main rankings screen, even though they are no longer active.

For example, on one of my databases, after a while I retired Corrie Sanders, who was 4th in the active HW rankings on the main 'fighters' section. When he was retired, the rankings were 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, etc. 4th was not there any more. So I checked in the retired section and sure enough Sanders still had the '4th' next to his name even though he's not active any more. I think the difference is that in the 'Title Rankings' section, such as WBC, WBO, IBF, etc, that DOES not include inactive or retired fighters. I don't know if this is your problem too but it was annoying for me.

That seemed logical to me too, but I had noticed this quirk earlier on, so now after I retire a fighter I go into his Stats screen and delete his performance points which seems to eliminate his ranking. I'm going to have to investigate further. I have my best man on the job.
