Agreed. There are a few heavies with the physical tools to be good fighters, but they lack something like ambition or heart that the great ones had. It's funny. Things haven't changed that much for the second and third tier fighters as far as purses go. They still make peanuts compared to the one or two percent of marquee names.

I just saw the rebroadcast. Meehan has the worst footwork this side of Ivan Drago. It seemed that the broadcast team was biased toward Meehan. Brewster won the first 4 rounds. Meehan hardly threw a punch for the first 4 rounds. I know Brewster didn't throw many, but a round is worth 10 points no matter how slow it was. The broadcast team had it 38-38 after 4. I also thought that Meehan did win the 12th though. I gave it to Brewster 114-113 even giving Meehan a 10-8 round for the 8th. Close, yes. A fix? Sounds like sour grapes on the barbie to me.
