Hopkins scored a KO on DLH at 1:11 in round 8 in the one I just simmed.
Didn't see the fight last night (I can't get PPV due to my crap cable company), but if it was anything like the one I just simmed, it was a pretty brutal. |

At first glance (and for the first few times you see the replay), the KO punch doesn't look like what you'd imagine a KO punch would be. It doesn't look as though it connects fully, it's hard to describe but I guess it kind of looks like 'just another punch'. But obviously it hurt Oscar bad as he was rolling around in pain immediately after taking the shot.

In my world, Oscar's staying away from Hopkins (the IBF champ) & instead decided to challenge the fearsome WBC champ (Gerald McClellan: 11-0, 9 KO's).
Oscar took the title via a 12 TKO due to Gerald's left eye swelling. |
