Rating DeLaHoya
Has anyone come out with ratings for DeLaHoya in the other weight classes? He won titles at Jr. Lightweight, Lightweight, Jr. Welterweight and Welterweight and Jr. Middleweight.
It's true that he didn't "hang out" in the lower weight classes for long, but he beat some pretty good fighters along the way. |

Thanks for the attachments
It's hard to believe DeLaHoya's career is winding down. Seems like just yesterday when he challenged for his first title at JLW. I always thought fighters like Oscar DeLaHoya and Pernell Whitikar were lucky to have fought in the day when title fights were 12 rounds instead of 15.
Both fighters have sucked wind entering the championship rounds on numerous occasions. The extra 3 rounds could have spelled defeat for either of them on more than a few occasions. Of course, maybe they would have paced themselves differently? Thanks again, Jim |

jorfe: Thanks for this Oscar info! It is strange there wasn't a LW version but I'll just combine the data from his JLW & JWW & make a LW Oscar.
I made a Crusier ranking for Roy Jones & Michael Spinks that way. You don't have any data on Roy as a Middleweight by chance do you? Thanks again! |
