BoxRec has a new server. Consequently, you cannot go directly to a fighters record in biography without typing in the name. Andreas will need to make an adjustment.

Well, TB has an "open interface" to boxrec.com and each TB user can make the adjustment himself. Do the following please:

- Open the Game Options screen in TB
- Locate the field named "External data source link"
- Enter this:

http://www.boxrec.com/record$$ID$$.html

(EDITED, the URL above works, and this one doesn't work now: http://hagler.boxrec.com/boxrec.com.site/record$$ID$$.html)

Click on Save, and that's it.
Have fun with boxrec.com's new server - it's really fast now!

Andreas, somehow it isn't working for me. They don't connect when I try to open a fighters record.

What I typed in is a bit different then what Andreas has shown in his post. Maybe try this...

Both URLs should work (and they actually work on my computer).
Please have a look at the bottom of the boxrec.com pages:

Do them the favor! So the correct URL that has to be entered in TB looks like this:

http://hagler.boxrec.com/record$$ID$$.html

This is strange! Yesterday I had it working perfectly on my main pc and my laptop. But today I keep getting an error message on both my main pc and laptop. I reentered the URL again and still recieve an error message.

The message reads: Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

just tried again retying in Rocco's id from above

Boy something is screwy with boxrec right now.

Just tried to get onto it through a boxer's file in titlebout and it wouldn't work! So I went direct into boxrec and to a fighter's file and noticed something a little different.

so I put this link into the options in titlebout and now it works again!

After you save the URL, close the screen and go back in and make sure the URL took and reads: http://hagler.boxrec.com/record$$ID$$.html

I found that the change I made didn't save the change the first time I did it. I may not have allowed enough time for the change to be saved.
