Disgusting statements by a bum of a fighter!

I dont know if anyone has read or heard the Danny Williams/ Vitali Klitchko Press Conference. It is extremely upsetting and disturbing for any Tyson fan. In the press conference Williams calls Klitchko the best fighter today and then incredibly says "and I am the best challenger today for the title." Is he serious. I found this statement so incredibly disgusting and disturbing that I nearly through my computer through a window. I mean who does this guy think he is? It is incredible that he could ever actually believe that he is the best challenger for the heavyweight title. He isnt even in the top 20. He is a bum. He is piece of crap of a boxer and I find it insulting that he believes because he beat a wounded and injured Tyson that that makes him some great fighter. It doesnt!!! Until he explains how the "best challenger today" lost to Julius Francis he needs shut up and go do some extra training. I cannot wait until this bum gets what he was getting before Tyson got injured and thats a A@! whupping. Its gonna happen and anyone who believes otherwise better wake up and recognize. Danny Williams is a chump and a bum. Anyone who buys a ticket to see this fight or pays any money period to see this fight needs to be taken out back and beat over there head. This fight needs to be protested and it made clear that we don't let bums fight for the title and HBO con us out of our money for these kind of retarded events. I would reccomend that everyone tune in this weekend if you want to see some quality heavyweight action when you see two true champs defend their titles against quality opponents. Vitali, if your listening, you better start making some better choices in opponents. You are not the linear champ you never beat Lewis you beat a bum of a fighter named Corey Sanders. Quit running from Byrd. He beat you once and he will do it again. And as for Ruiz we know you are afraid of him. He has demonstrated his worthiness time and again. Step up Vitali, prove you are a champ and not the Chump I know you are. We all know Chris Byrd is the true champ. Its time we stop allowing fools like Vitali Klitchko mess up the sport. If you are a fighter fight. And I want to make a prediction before I finish. I predict that this time next year the title will be unified and Tyson and Byrd will be the big match everyone is talking about. And then, just in time for Christmas Mike will whupp Byrds a#$ and once again reign supreme.

yikes...Tysonfan...are you saying Chris Byrd and John Ruiz are the best HW's besides your boy Tyson? I was keeping an open mind right up until you mentioned Ruiz and Byrd. If those two aren't the sorriest POS fighters Ive ever seen...Vitali has proved himself to be the best HW in the world, granted we all agree HW is a very weak division.

Ever see Byrd throw a punch? its more like a slap or a backhand. And btw he lost to Golota. Ruiz? what more can be said. He's a hugger and clincher, that's all he does.

I hope you're right about Williams. You certainly went out on a limb with him. You can't knock him for losing to Julias Francis. It was a while back, fighters change, confidence plays a big role. Even the greatest fighters in the world have some stinky fights on there resume.

I would LOVE to see Tyson blow Byrd out and end his career. I hate that guy.

Ouch, Tyson fan I think you are over reacting a bit here. Williams performed heroically against Tyson and will show everyone yet again that he is a worthy contender in the Klitschko fight. I doubt Williams will win but he will not roll over and he is capable of boxing at the highest level without question, he just needs to be right mentally. And he will be because for Williams, he needs big fights to 'get up' for the fight psycologically.

If Williams was American would you be slating him so much? I doubt it. Just because an English boxer is fighting a Ukranian boxer doesn't mean you need to get all defensive over Williams.

Tysonfan,

I agree with the first part of your statement, but when you went on to say "two true champions"... thats where I decided you were talking out of your a$$. I've been calling "bull$h!t on this board for quite some time now. Sometimes I am appreciated for it, and sometimes not... but I dont care either way. If you truly believe that Ruiz and Byrd are "true champs", I suggest we take YOU out back and beat YOU over the head. Larry Holmes (widely considered one of the most boring champions ever) could not come even remotely close to being as pathetic as Byrd, even if he tried... and if Holmes were dead, he would somewhat resemble Ruiz in the ring (all but the skin tone of course). Those two "true champs" are the reason that the HW division is in shambles... and Klitschko doesn't help much either. When this weeks PPV comes on, I will be buying it to watch Holyfield, Donald, Golota, McCline, Rahman and Meehan... not the clincher and the runner with the pitty-pat punches.

However, you are correct about Williams... he beat an injured Tyson and has no business fighting for a title. What is more disturbing is that HBO and the promoters actually want us to believe that this fight is genuine and that it SHOULD happen, for the good of boxing. Bull$h!t!!!!!!!! The best thing for boxing would be to strip every fighter in the HW division of their title, then have all of them fight each other... ALL AT ONCE, IN THE SAME RING.... TO THE DEATH!!!! 10 fighters or so in the same ring (however many alphabet titles are out there), beating the hell out of one another without any gloves, and we will make sure to throw in large amounts of crack and weapons at random times. Then when it's all over, we will put the winner on a big pedestal, let everyone cheer for a few moments... and then shoot him in the goddamn head!!!!!!! That would make for a nice fresh start in the HW division... and it would make PPV history.

It's about time someone said thebadguy. Steel Cgae Texas Death Match. Vitali Klitscho, Chris Byrd, John Ruiz, Lamon Brewster an "Mystery Opponent". 5 men enter...one leaves...a true champion will be crowned....rated R.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

There are times I'm glad I'm a boxing newbie. I can't weigh in on ANY side of this debate, thus I don't get heated about it.

What I do know though is this. Tyson is a dick. (The fighter, not the poster.)

I want to clarify a point. I was not saying that both Byrd and Ruiz are the best champions in history. I was making a point that they are fighting true contenders not pretenders as is the case of Klitchko. I mean yes both Byrd and Ruiz are boring fighters however it must be stated that they have beaten a slew of the top heavyweights in the past few years. For instance Ruiz has beaten:
Kirk Johnson
Fres Oquendo
Hasim Rahman
Holyfield

And Byrd has beaten

Vitali Klitchko
Fres Oquendo
Holyfield
and fought to a draw with Golota

It is my point that they seem to have fought the more quality opponents and are going to be facing more quality opponents this weekend. I agree that their Styles are not the most exciting but you have to give credit where credit is due. They have both fought and beat top heavyweights. Klitchko on the other hand has been busy losing to plenty of Top heavyweights like Byrd and Lewis and then beating up old dudes like Corey Sanders. I mean come on unless he fights someone worthy why should we recognize the bum. That is my point. I also dont think it would be a bad idea to strip everyone and make them all fight a tournament to determine the true champ. In my opinion we dont have any true champs right now. But we do have some title holders and they must be recognized especially the ones who fight like champions and fight anyone. Also I am very confidant that all this will be solved in the next year when Tyson emerges to once again unify this broken division. Its going to happen and all of you doubters keep doubting cause you WILL feel stupid later.

Why even pay attention to the belts anyways? I don't know what belt if any Chris Byrd or Ruiz hold if any. I go by Ring Magazine ratings and according to that for better or worse Vitali is recognized as the true Heavyweight Champion. I think he'll beat Williams but look vulnerable in doing so which appears to be his M.O.

TysonFan,

Well, I feel the same way about Holyfield as you do about Tyson, in regards to resurrecting the division and\or capturing the "true" title. Now if you want to make an arguement as to who has the best chance of doing it... look no further than rounds 1-11 of Holyfield-Tyson I.

Doesn't appear Holyfield will be resurrecting much of anything.

Washed...up.
