That really looks like what could be the reality of tommorow. I think that like the replay we won't see more than 1 fight featuring a knockout. lots of decisions. some of them will probably be screwy too.

we might be in store for 1 stinker after the other, you'd think we might get a decent one outta the 5 though

Let me guess. This will all be on PPV I'm incapable of getting, yes?

Yes, but the bigger question is, if you could get, would you? I definately would not. I mean...none of those fights hold any interest for me enough to pay $50 or whatever to see them.

I predict they will all be boring fights, with maybe 1 surprise KO win and maybe the Byrd-McCline fight will produce some action.

I think the Ruiz/Golata fight could end in a foulout. Here is how I see it

Barrett w12 Beck
Ruiz tko9 Golata
Rahman KO3 Meehan
Holyfield w12 Donald * could be a stacked deck in favor of Evander. Don King is involved here.
Byrd W12 McCline * Not that Byrd is anything special.

Hey Guys,
I think the Meehan/Rahman bout will be entertaining, maybe a real slugfest, if I had to pick one fight to end in a KO, this would be it. I also think the Holyfield/Donald bout will be good, Evander will give it his all, as he always does. If Donald doesn't run the whole time, it should turn out to be a decent fight.
Tea's predictions look pretty good to me.

Based on his performance against Kirk Johnson, I wouldn't expect much from Donald. Probably just a pay-day to give Holyfield another shot at the big money. Rahman is reportedly in good shape so he should handle Meehan. If Byrd is psyched he should out-box the clumsy McCline. I'd like to see Golota KO Ruiz, but more likely will end with a DQ and Ruiz writhing on the canvas as he did against Johnson. I expect Barrett to decision Beck who I know nothing about.

I won't see any of these live as I do not have digital cable.

I could get it...but just can't see any of these fights worth $50....and I cant get any friends to go in together on it. I do wish I could see the Rahman fight though...that's the most interesting bout there.

Ditto. I stopped purchasing fights when the rates went up that high. I have no problem waiting a week for the replays on HBO or SHO. With the schedule I keep, it's a miracle I can sit through an entire fight in one sitting anyway. Sure wish boxing was on the radio again.

The card looks pretty poor on paper but as always I do actually wish I could see the fights. Unfortunately I don't even have the choice because I'm from the UK and no one is showing it even on PPV. I think it will be more entertaining than people think. I can see two UD's in favour of Byrd and Golota.

Weigh in pictures:

Guess can't complain about sloppy-looking heavies this time. By the way, I hear that Krasniqi will fight Timo Hoffman in Berlin next month for the European title.

That fight card didn't interest me either. I'm saving my money to buy the Morales/Barrera card later this month. That card also has Larios defend his title on the undercard.

I'm surprised Klitchiko/Williams is on PPV in December. Wright/Mosley is on regular HBO next week & that fight's more interesting to me!

Compared to the other guys John Ruiz looks like someone Don King pulled out of the audience to act as a stand-in!

Com-on up fella...take ya shirt off n' stand here...only in America!

This fight card isn't worthy of PPV. I will not be purchasing.

I was thinking the same thing. At least they're all in shape. Rahman looks like he slimmed down a bit, am I wrong, or is he like...20 lbs. lighter than usual?

Not for that price actually. Ironically, the one PPV I did get once, WWF (as it then was) Royal Rumble in 2001, I never actually got billed for! I quit the PPV while I was ahead

Of course PPV stuff does turn up on free TV about a month after the event and everyone knows the result. *sigh* If there was online coverage and it was, say, $5, I'd lay the cash down for that.
