Pistons/Pacers fiasco

Am I glad that situation didn't happen during a boxing match! Can you imagine all the so-called experts saying: "It's another black eye for boxing", etc. if a similar situation had happened during a boxing card?

A lot of people don't like boxing because it's so brutal & they don't understand that there's a lot more going on with strategy, etc. in most cases than they realize. They can say what they will about boxers but most of them are smart enough to get paid for fighting, they don't do it for free!

What? You mean that the Pistons/Pacers match WASN'T a boxing match? Here I thought that some guy named Fan Pistons was up against a guy named Players Pacers.

Actually I'm not a fan of Basketball or Boxing, but either way, the mixture of the two that was displayed Friday night was a sad thing for my hometown.

Though i've seen more than my fair share of fan fights at boxing cards, I agree with what you said.

Now that professional hockey is shut down, we'll have to change the Rodney Danfgerfield one liner: "I went to the fights last night and a hockey game broke out." Insert word Basketball for Hockey.

That's true, it's just good a guy like Tyson or Mayorga never started wading into the crowd to beat up fans. Can you imagine the bad press?

Probably the closet thing we had recently was after Bowe/Golata 2.
