Boxing Historian - Robin Nygaard

December 12, 2004 - It is with deep regret and sadness to report that IBRO Canadian Boxing Historian Robin Nygaard, age 58, passed away Friday night, December 10th from a heart attack. One of his greatest loves and enjoyments was boxing research. Robin was a prolific researcher and his hard work and dedication can be found in thousands of boxing records in BoxRec and IBRO. Our sincerest sympathies to Geri McDougall (Robin's wife) and family. May he rest in peace,

I saw that on Boxrec and was sorry to hear of his death. I didn't know of him by name, but I certainly have benefitted from his efforts.
