Frankie Liles

I'm not a big fan of Frankie but I just noticed that his database his nowhere to be found. Also have any of you noticed that the fighter ratings are little wacky?
Mauro Mina should be a 7 or 8, not a 12. Les Darcy was great but he should be a 10, not a 12, and Daniel Zaragoza deserves more than a 6. Also why does Roy Jones keep on beating Sugar Ray Robinson? hmmmmmm.

Roy Jones beats SR Robinson in your game, at what weight, light heavy? In my world, at LH, Roy has trouble with Victor Galindez - a draw Roy was lucky to get & Michael Moorer TKO'd Roy in 9 due to eye swelling.

Also concerning Zaragoza, I have an old rating from '97 of his where I think he's rated as a "7" but his CF is 12/12. Now that guy is tough to beat! He put a 15 round beating on Paulie Ayala in his last defense.

I'd agree that Zaragoza deserves a better than a 6 overall rating (7 or 8) is more like it.....though a 12/12 for CF would also seem a bit high for him -

I know what you mean meade95, I was surprised it was that high as well. A few years ago, he'd won 1 of the 4 belts & I thought he'd be champ for some time. Wayne McCullough put a savage beating on him though, finally knocking him out in the 12th round to take Danny's title.

Actually Zaragoza won his fight with McCullough but lost his title later to Erik Morales. As for Mauro Mina, djday45, can you please tell me more about him? Maybe I am underating him. I do remember his name because he has a win over a pre prime Bob Foster, who is only rated 11 in this game (I think it should be higher). I've always thought that a rating of 12 is reserved for an elite hall of fame caliber fighter which I do not believe Mauro Mina is.

I agree about 12 ratings being only for hall a famers.....however, what I think happens in TBCB...is that in the case of a fighter without much hitting power....their control factor needs to be tweaked slightly above what would be legit (for that fighter).....this is so to offset the lack of hitting power.....which causes too many loss decisions (because of the value put toward hitting power....in the formulas for decisions, control, etc....that work behind the scenes in the game) -

Damn....that is confusing to write.......I think I could re-confuse myself by reading it -

As for Hamed....(mrchallenge).....he was taking about his universe where McCullough beat Danny.....(not the real world....were you are correct Danny won a 12rd dec).
