Help With Pics

All of a sudden when I right-click on a pic in Ebay and click save as, I get the save as window, but it wants to save the file as a bitmap and nothing else. This happened before and when I got rid of Quicktime it seemed to work normally again.

Is this a virus?

I'm no stinkin' genius but....

My work around to that has been:

1) save as a bmp file
2) open as a bmp file
3) make a minor change (such as enlarge by 1%)
4) save as a jpg file

Then I seem to be able to open as a jpg, crop, resize, et cetera. I have no idea why that works or is needed at times, but no other combination of hokus-pokus seems to work.

But again, I ain't no stinkin' genius Cap.

If you are using Outlook Express try to empty your browser cache through tools>internet options>general and clear your temp internet files.

This is exactly what I did when I experienced this problem myself and it did the trick.

Thanks, guys. This worked great. I spent an hour trying to figure this one out and turned the air blue in the process.
