TBCB Random Fighter Generator NEWS UPDATE
Hey everyone, I have pseudo-good news. Chris Storer, my co-programmer for my Random Fighter Generator, is coming home from the US Air Force. He went to basic training in mid-December, and for reasons I refuse to disclose, he'll probably be back here in Xenia roughly mid- to late-January.
Aside from the obvious plusses resulting from my best friend coming back, work on the RFG can pick up some more. One thing we were working on before he left was converting it to a more streamlined, visual program. Work totally stalled on that because he was teaching me how to, and I haven't had the time to deal with learning much of the language on my own. From a friend's perspective, I hate to see him leaving the Air Force so soon after joining it. He read all the manuals and studied and everything for the USAF longer than he was actually in it. But from a selfish and business perspective, this totally rocks, because we can get some work done and I can fulfill commitments I made to you all... like getting the damn thing working for choosing what kind of fighters you want. So anyway, I've got high morale, and work will start up again very soon. And whenever TBCB 2 or whatever it's called will be out, Chris and I will be all over that for updating the RFG. I've got a lot of ideas I've wanted to implement, and with Chris coming home, I'll actually be able to get them in. My eternal thanks to everyone who's used our program and commented on it. As the saying goes, the best is yet to come!
