Ruiz vs Toney

Just read on fightnews.com that James Toney is WBA beltholder John Ruiz's mandatory. Should the fight manifest, it makes for a very interesting match-up. If Toney comes in injury-free, I like him by close decision.

**** WARNING**** Do not bet any money on Toney (This has been a public service announcement)

I'll just repost my comments from the other thread. Feel free to shoot me down

I may be in the minority on this, but I would never bet on Toney. I like watching him, but the guy is 37 or 38, he has to have put on 60 to 70 pounds over his career. It just seems to me that he is going to fall apart suddenly and completely. I wouldn't bank on it not being his next bout, be it Ruiz or any other heavyweight.

He just strikes me as a Cinderella waiting for the stroke of twelve, I certainly mean no disrespect to him but it all has to catch up with him at some point - doesn't it?
