Not enough jabs?

In a typical boxing match, is it just me, or are more than 20-25% of the punches jabs? Maybe I am wrong, but I think this game over emphasize the power puches, without representing the importance of the jabs. Many of the punches landed in the game are usually set up by a jab It's a moot point because it doesn't really affect the game to transfer 2 point hooks or uppercuts, into 2 point jabs, but I was just woundering if anybody else felt this way.

I think this happens because as you point out, in the game a 2pt jab is the same as a 2pt cross, so when files are created little thought is sometimes given to punch distribution within the 2 or 3 point columns. It does make the stats look odd though.

I may not be correct on this though, I do not know if the game internaly makes its own punch allocation during the fight or if it follows the distribution. I would tend to think that the game engine ignores the distribution as I have read here many times that distribution is not all that important.
