King of the Heavyweight Division John "Quiet Man" Ruiz finally spoke out today. Ruiz finally did what every other champ is afraid to do: Made an open challenge. I won't argue that Ruiz is the best champ ever(although he did beat Holyfield(twice in my opinion) and some of the more delusional members on this board believe Holyfield was the best), but I do think Ruiz should be patted on the back for trying to get the ball rolling. The division needs a unification tournament bad and I can't wait much longer. All the promoters need to step up and put this together. The best fighters need to be entered with the winner coming out as undisputed champ. If this doesnt happen I'm not sure the division will be able to sustain itself much longer. Ruiz, your the man, keep it up and maybe one day you can fulfill my dream of watching you writhing on the canvas with my man Calvin Brock or Mike Tyson standing triumphantly above you.
