New to the Game....

Hi, I'm new to the game and am looking to start a career with some fighters.

What I would like to be able to do is create a new database and import about 16 people from each divison into the database. I would also like to be able to import other people as I go on. However whenever I create a new database and go to load it up I get an error message that it doesn't have any fighters or refs, etc. After trying to get it to start several times my empty database will automatically default to the default database. Is there anyway to create a new DB and import boxers from the default one?

Also what I would like to do is create an ageing system as I have seen atleast 1 person do in a diary. It would be based off of number of fights and would be as such:
Number of fights=Career age
1-10=Beginning
11-20=Pre-Prime
21-30=Prime
31-40=Post-Prime
41-50=End

They will automatically retire after 50 fights or 5 straight losses. How would I set this up in the game?

As another note, where are the picture files at around here. Sorry for all these noob questions but I am indeed a noob at this game. Thanks for reading.

I think you are misinterpreting what you have been reading about running universes. Create a new database and call it whatever you wish (the game will restart when you do this). Leave it full of fighters, refs etc. Create a New Group for your universe (Groups button in the main screen). Add your 16 fighters per division to your newly created group (on the Fighters screen there is a Group drop down), you'll have to do this fighter by fighter in the Fighters screen. Now you only run fights for fighters within your group, how and when you add fighters to your universe (group) is up to you from this point on.

The game will not do this automatically. I would suggest creating a spreadsheet with a list of all the fighters active in your universe and there number of fights and career stage. In the career stage column use Conditional Formating (if using Excel) to highlight the Career Stage of fighters who need to be moved to the next stage.

You'll find the photo packs on Cubedrum's web site. I can't remember the address. Just search for a post by him on the site and a link will be in his signature.

Thanks for the quick reply's. I think I am finally getting the hang of how it can all work in a career now. ALMOST eliminates the need for a career mode at all.
