Arce Vs Hussein fight simply GREAT!
What a war that was!! - (and I called the winner and the exact round in another thread on here) - Great fight can't wait to see the winner take on Wonjongkam -

Definitely a very good fight -- Arce had Hussein hurt in round 1 but to Hussein's credit he came back tough -
Arce had a big cut on the top / bridge of his nose from like the 3rd round on (bleed like a pig as Pitt said). Arce just kept coming and coming.....but again to Hussein's credit he took and gave back just as good from time to time - (it was a pretty close fight when it was stopped...I had Arce up 2pts). Arce Vs Wonjongkam will be a hell of a fight - Wonjongkam hits harder than Hussein....so lets see if Arce can take them.....and lets see how Wonjongkam handles Arce's non-stop pressure. Two great fights! The Hussein/Arce fight was just unreal, what a war that was. The amount of power shots being thrown was ridiculous. The fans who got tickets for last night were some lucky people.

I think Roy Jones said it best when he said he doesn't think he's ever seen 2 better fights back to back with the Morales fight that followed.
Who says boxing is a dying sport? If it were, I doubt HBO would have this many PPV cards coming up & now ESPN is joining the mix next month! |
