Ouma vs. Santos?

Hey erick, while having my car inspected this morning, I read in ESPN mag that these guys might unify their IBF & WBO titles this summer. That's the 1st I've heard/read about that. You heard anything about this fight getting made?

Maybe they could stick it on the undercard of Hopkins/Taylor - if that fight takes place on July 16th?

If this fight happens i like Ouma all the way hes a star hes got a hell of a beard and is a really good young fighter.

Well so far what Gary Shaw been saying is he wants lacey and ouma on the samw showtime card in Aug, Santos maybe to pricey, but from what I've heard Ouma wants to unify, but shaw hasn't said anything about it.

Ouma is his own man, but shaw makes the fights, Ouma said he wants mayorga, of course that wont happend, Vargas is aiming for the wbc belt so he is sorda out of the loop, Dont be surprise to see him fight a Spinks in december because lack of opposition, Santos is a fighter who wants a mil dollar payday and showtime is not going to pay that.

Ima Call Onfire (Btalk reporter) And tell him to hit up ouma and see if there's any truth to these rumors, We've been so into the pac vs. Erik **** we haven't touch down yet, But I will post later on to give you details on the convo Onfire (Or me) will have with ouma.

Man, I would love to see Mayorga vs. Ouma! I know you said it won't happen but what a fight if it ever did!

But check this out, If Mayorga wins his fight on may 21 (In chicago which im going to) he will then fight Javier for the vacant WBC JMW title sometimein september, And if he wins that bout Vergas (Who is moving back to JMW and is ranked number 3 or 4 in the WBC ranking) Is more likely to fight mayorga than Ouma, So far shaw is sorda keeping ouma out of the convo's When Onfire tried to reach ouma they say he is resting, Shaw seems to be intent on giving ouma a soft fight then maybe a spinks in november or october.

That's right, Vargas is coming down to 154 again too. Gee, you could put the names: Vargas, Mayorga, Ouma & Simms into a hat & pull out any 2 & that would be a pretty good fight!

Then you still have Oscar & Shane lurking near @ 147 & Mayweather said he wanted to fight Oscar @ 154. A lot of good fighters between 140 & 160 lbs!

Dont forget Spinks and Santos to Big Long guys who can outbox any slugger on anygiven saturday, and you really have some heat from 147-160.
