Local boxer murdered

Greg Cuyler, a Hartford Amateur, was shot yesterday. Still no details to speak of.

John Scully (Clay-Bey's trainer) has been training him since he was 13. Or at least had been. I don't think Cuyler has been an active amateur of late.

Read about that over the weekend. Very sad Not sure which is worse. If he was targeted, or if it was an accident. (Since the police said they didn't know.)

As it appears now, this was an argument in a Hartford bar that spilled out to the street.

He had been on an athletic scholarship to Michigan U, but dropped out. He had missed the olympic squad and now was a pizza delivery Man. It doesn't sound like he has boxed in a few years so I think Scully hasn't had much to do with him lately. Left a few very small children behind.

That's the worst part. It's a shame what the world is turning into.
Imagine the 50's when the big "threat" was little old Rock and Roll.

I don't think the world is THAT much worse these days. Back then, it was just kept quiet more I think. (My Dad was a cop, and times now are pretty much the same as they were then. Same scumbags, doing the same scummy things.)
