Toney drugs due to Injury

I heard Toney talking on espn and he stated he failed the test due to a legal drug he took for his arm injury i believe him for two reasons alot of over the counter drugs have bained substances in them and his "body of work."

Took steriods to recover from an injury sooner. Well isn't that pretty much what they are designed to do? Either way it's a banned substance.

Well, if he took steriods for the sake of getting that cut, chisled look... they definitely didn't work. I guess, in light of the injuries he's had, it will come down to motive and intent. I know people who were perscribed steriods due to physical problems.

I wonder if he obtained them legally?

Not really in that form they arent a banned substance and are used in all sports as anti-inflamatories this isnt an illegal substance in the country just banned by the New York State Athletic Commision so like Toney said if the fight would have been on the originally scheduled date it would have been no problem.

It was perscribed...so they were legal ( in the real world). On a side note....my son takes a steriod because he has asthma/breathing issues ( he is 3)...some steriods are beneficial and are indeed medically used. Its not like my son is going to go out there and hit 72 home runs.

The injury must have been to his mouth, because that is pretty big and runs non stop.

Kind of difficult to get the "cut, chisled look" when your diet consits of big macs, buckets of KFC extra crispy, extra large fries, shakes, etc. I bet his cholesterol level is through the roof.

Toney will be back for sure even if it is at 260 pounds because Don King still has right for his next couple fights
