This is weird, Its been 5 months since anyone with importance posted on the board.

I'm a little disappointed, too, Eric. When TBCB was being developed, we had regular updates on the game's progress. Since then, as posters contributed ideas and patches were formulated, the Trunzos and Andreas always kept us abreast of new developments.

Lately, though, their absence has been noticeable but I hope it's not a cause for concern. Hints on the forum that beta testing is going on as we post gives us some hope, but is a bi-weekly or monthly update too much to ask for? "Hey guys, thanks for your patience. We're getting close but are having trouble with the new autoscheduling routine." Or, "The changes in the way the program handles cuts has caused some delays but we think we've got it figured out now." How about "TBCB2 is really looking great and we know you'll be pleased with the new interface. We are putting the final touches on (insert random new feature here) and are working out some kinks in our redesigned rating formulator."

I have faith in the developers and am sure the game will be out soon. We all know the Trunzos and Andreas have other responsibilities but that they are committed to this project. I also understand the necessity of some "secrecy" and not wanting to jump the gun. However, an occasional tidbit to satisfy the appetites of the faithful would be appreciated.

I'm helping the team with the testing and I would love to blurt out everything about TBCB 2 and give you an update but the testers hands are tied because I don't think we can say much about it just yet due to the scale of what is going on. This is another one of those 'hint' type messages but this is just the way it is and I know I always say this, but don't think TB 2 is not being worked on because Andreas is working hard along with us to make the game good enough for release. Perfection is impossible but we want to get close.

At least we have Dave1877 to fill in the gaps letting us know that they are still hard at work.

I think the wait will be worth it, and hell, I am still enjoying version 1. I may not be playing as much as I was a while back, but I still look forward to the big fights, probably a lot more then fights that take place in "reality". I personally think the longer they take to get it right, the better.

It would be dead easy to disclose things about the new game and how its going on but that's not the beta testers job. They were selected to beta test. If Andreas, Jim or Tom wanted anything about the new game leaked out it makes sense they would have done it themselves.

Having said that i agree it would be nice if they did at least come on and give a little update on this forum.

I just hope they have several ways to play.

I'd love to have an option for it to basically by TBCB just with all the grunt work done by the computer.

I'd love to have an option for me to be a promoter(career mode).

I'd love to have an option for me to be a boxer(career mode).

Well...this thread is not design to talk **** about the handlers, but just to remind them the last word, of any sort was in december, and they was testing the game then too. Take this how you will but, TBCB should be happy they have people who care about the game, dont get mad at people who care, and want to know something every now and then, it has been a half a year since any word from any of the developers.

Most of what you are asking for sounds like what you expect out of TBRP, which is still a ways off.

No dates for anything yet, but if I were guessing I'd say TBCB2 within the next 3 months and TBRP mid to late 2006
