Sam Langford (11) had Fred Storbeck (1) down twice and close to out when he was KO'd with a single right cross at the end of the 7th round.

No, it was a lucky punch. Storbeck lost the first match by KO 1 and the third match by KO 1. If you sim them 100 times, Storbeck might win three.

I always love bouts like that ... the favorite goes down and you are thinking lucky shot, keeps the underdog in the fight longer 5,6,7 ... wow he is struggling to get up 8,9,10 OMG!!!!

![]() ![]() It was my first uni, and I was trying to compensate for how top-heavy it was. My champ was up against a death row of strong fighters, everyone in the top 10 was championship material. So I allowed him to fight a bum to pad his record and give him a break, thinking there's no way he could lose. But.. he did. ![]() I learned my lesson...my 2.5 uni is set up better.
