I like the way you've scheduled out the matches, Sal. It's kinda like how our rugby league competition works over here in Australia, where's there's a Friday night game, three Saturday night games and three Sunday afternoon games. Nice.

my 1's went 0-6 again! At least one of them didn't get KO'd. But I got what I needed with my 3 10's going 6-0. Not real proud of the win though as we just did what we should have.

**note** Sal you should put the schedule somewhere easily accessed.

I'm trying to think of a quick and easy way to evaluate fighter pperfomance and expectations. I'm looking at multiplying a fighter's rating by three to come up with a figure for expected production for a season. Does this sound like a good yardstick?

I have my own formula that I am using this season, if it works well I should be able to pillage the other teams through trades and win the whole thing next year.

If it doesn't work, I'll share the formula with all of you.

Christopher

I was under the assumption by your preseason bragging that you were winning it all this year. You usually wait until midseason to go into "Wait til next year mode"

Well Benny Bass had a better showing this week, but knowing I only scored 3 wins over Fighters rated 2 or better doesn't lift my spirits any.....The much ballyhooed Newsboy Brown's debut was inauspicious as well...

A simple way I calculate is to take 105 and divide it by 16. You get close to 6 and a half (actually 6.5625). So the "average" fighter, the .500 fighter, should theoretically be somewhere between a 6 and a 7 rating. Figuring out expected win share for each rating based on this scheme is pretty simple, if not entirely scientific. Of course, it does not take into account points scored in KO, but then again, if your guy is over .500 and he is under a 6, you immediately know he is doing better than he theoretically should expect to do.

That's my rough formula, anyway.

Getting closer to a win, I guess. My two big signings are both 3-1, which is nice to see, and Williams stopped Lewis. Big surprise there.

Well, your guys should finally be able to break though with a win next week against the Punching Bags. Maybe that first win will spark a winning streak like it did for the Bears last season.
