I give up, I quit I've tried repeatedly to beef up my upper divisions and they still suck even if I make the playoffs this year I'll be no threat to either Icetea or the Breavers.

I wouldnt feel so bad, I think we are dealing with a dynasty in Ice Tea. Every week its the same result for him, he demolishes everyone he faces.

Whoa, just logged on and was catching up on the post...scary deal with your little one Sal. Glad to hear that things look OK. Boy,life can sure change in an instant. Things like that makes you realize just how fragile this human body really is. Send her my best wishes. Get some rest my friend,I know just how draining it can be during these type of situations. After the adrenaline and nervousness of the situations eases..you can really crash and burn.

Dont forget guys...the HBO fight tonite. Jason Litzau is on the undercard of Miranda/Gibbs. Should be a fairly exciting double feature. I really like Litzau and Miranda is developing the reputation as a real destroyer. Gibbs is not to be overlooked though....I know this is the UTBA thread..just wanted to remind you guys. 9:45 pm est.

All is well. Doctor said she can go back to school on Monday and resume B-B practice in two weeks.

I'll still get all of the bouts run and posted this weekend.

Wow...hope all is better now. Been through scary things with my kids (seizures)...nothing more frightening.

Good luck!

It isn't so much that I lost to IceTea but that this is the third or fourth time my upper weightclass have completely crapped the bed. I've upgraded the talent from my original team and they still suck, it's a pain.

I was worried about this one, as we didn't match up very well against the Crusader squad. Lots of very good solid PRIME fighters on the Cawkney team - solid as in... solidly kicked our butts tonight. Congrats.

There were some losses I expected, and even a couple of wins I didn't (nice job Tiozzo against Freddie Mills). But some bigtime unexpected losses from Kid McCoy, who really tanked against two inferior opponents, as well as Ramos, Cotton and Carruthers. There will be some serious come to Jesus conversations tonight. Maybe these guys are feeling a little smug or something - I just noticed that the last 3 MVP award winners went a combined 0-6 tonight.

Bernard Taylor earns the week's MVP award. If it weren't for the B.T. Express managing two tough wins against stiff competition, the carnage would have been even more obscene.

Wow...Gerry Cooney is the new HW champ! Nice run by Norton. A tie, expansion team beats a veteran and a team wins all of its fights by knockout yet still comes up short...crazy week so far! I wouldnt worry too much Matt..ya still are in great shape overall. Later guys.

... great guy. Got to meet him in Dallas at a promo for the Holmes fight. Glad to see him as champ, but don't expect a real long reign (LOL)!

My man Jermain just keeps winning, too. Monzon last week and Zale this time. Mickey Walker, beware!

Well,my guy Litzau got starched..lol. He would not listen to his corner man. He just doesnt have a lick of defense. He will probably have a nice career because he will always be in exciting fights. Speaking of Julio, did you see the highlights of his fight? Whew...what a shot! He is still young and I think the Quintana fight could help him down the road if he learns from it. Yeah Mike..I hate the way boxers are written off after a loss..just ridiculous. Well,if you like knockouts ya had your fill last night..lol. Miranda was impressive as well. I guess I should be posting this over in General discussions....sorry guys.
