Ah yes, Mr. Tiger told me all about your little deal with him. Luckly for me some extra cash, a few of those aforementioned hookers, and a group of scary man with tazers and nightsticks convinced him to that he needs to fight at his best.

Plus, the team has realized that for as bad as we been fighting lately we're only 16 points out of first so we're still alive and with the addition of Frissina and Tiger as well as the removal of a few underperformers we feel good about our chances of making it to the playoffs and getting blowned out in the first round.

The Trading Wire is Closed.....................

All rosters and the draft pool should be updated. As soon as I double check them, I'll go ahead and start Week 8.

Ever hopeful, the Beavers are hoping for "Resurrection Sunday" as far as Jhonny is concerned.

He couldn't possibly be any worse than the 2 abyssmal Flys we swatted to make room for him.

You would think he'd be better but their suppose to suck Jhonny's a 8 he should be good. Over the course of this season Melchor Cob Castro and Isidro Perez both equaled Jhonny's win total of 3 wins with one by way of KO. In their loses both Cob Castro and Perez have been stopped four times this year compared to only twice by Jhonny but Mercurio Ciaramitaro will probably make up the difference. So while he might not be worse I don't like the chances of him being better.

However, you going up against the Dublin Guard this week so Jhonny should do go hopefully. Maybe all he needed was another change of scenery

Congrats on your first title Sal,even if it did happen during a butt-whippin...LOL. Well,we have taken our lumps this season even though I know in the back of your mind..like myself...that you had hopes of at least being competitive..I know that I did. Oh well..lol. Still,I have had a couple of reasonably close matches and my HW and WW have kept me in the mix. I think once we both get rid of a couple lumps of dead weight(Troy Weaver and Rico Hoye for sure)next season we may be able to start to get a little get-back on some of these guys for these whippings..lol. Congrats on your first individual title. Peace.

After running almost 3 seasons of the UTBA, I have noticed something interesting. In the UTBA, 90% of the time when a fighter advances to the next aging stage, he loses the bout.
Has anyone else noticed this.......that is using the aging in the game?

Thanks on Shields. I'm happy to have a title holder in my stable.
I had it in the front of my mind (not back) to be competitive this season. Now I'm not even thinking about it. The only matches I've been in this year have been with my fellow expansion teams. Against the veteran teams......forget it.......I've been bashed by them. Looks like I'll have to wait another season or two and get some age before I even think playoffs.

Romy, I sent you the bout logs for this one to your email addy. Enjoy.
We needed that that was a huge win now as long as Tomato City and the others score less then 43 points we'll be in first and in control of our own futures. I expected to win this match maybe not by this much but still knew I was going to win we need to do is beat the original teams. Now we have to get ready for the Kangroos and Barbarians as from now on every match is a must win.

As for the this match, damn Curry and Medel didn't last long as champs but heck of a homecoming gift for Frissina as he kept the BW title in the family. Heck of a debut from John Holmes, he's the fighter of the match for us, Those will probably be the only two wins I get from him but hey he's already matched the combined win total of his predecessors. Speaking of them, I must say Mr. Witherspoon's career isn't off to the greatest of starts and I don't much like his chances of future success at the moment.

Jeez, it's been a high scoring round so far with three teams breaking the 50 point mark.

A title for Elmer Ray, however briefly. Chitalada shows signs of life during his torpid sophomore season. Enrique Sanchez continues to amaze me. A lot of bang for the buck with him. He and Lausse are both going great guns considering their competiton. Lopez got a couple of big wins. Moore and Ganigan go to pre-prime. Hoping I can pick up a few points on the dreaded Beavers so I have a puncher's shot at them in the last week.

Bear
Any other week and I would say you would have a great shot at making up some ground on the Breavers with that 52 you guys posted but he's got the Dublin Guard and what the Breavers usually do to expansion teams isn't pretty. What a great ending year schedule for the Breavers as they get Left Jab. Inc. next week to further pad their lead before facing the Bears in the finale. The Bears might be knocked out of a playoff spot though no fault of their own.

I am glad Norton got the title back, but that could be the nail in the coffin for Juggernaut.

Scoreboard:
The Dublin Guards 8-22-2 (3) = 21
Bonner Springs Bald Beavers 22-8-2 (11) = 57

Ouch, lost more ground to the Beavers.
