Plus, the team has realized that for as bad as we been fighting lately we're only 16 points out of first so we're still alive and with the addition of Frissina and Tiger as well as the removal of a few underperformers we feel good about our chances of making it to the playoffs and getting blowned out in the first round.

Congrats on your first title Sal,even if it did happen during a butt-whippin...LOL. Well,we have taken our lumps this season even though I know in the back of your mind..like myself...that you had hopes of at least being competitive..I know that I did. Oh well..lol. Still,I have had a couple of reasonably close matches and my HW and WW have kept me in the mix. I think once we both get rid of a couple lumps of dead weight(Troy Weaver and Rico Hoye for sure)next season we may be able to start to get a little get-back on some of these guys for these whippings..lol. Congrats on your first individual title. Peace.

After running almost 3 seasons of the UTBA, I have noticed something interesting. In the UTBA, 90% of the time when a fighter advances to the next aging stage, he loses the bout.
Has anyone else noticed this.......that is using the aging in the game? Quote:
I had it in the front of my mind (not back) to be competitive this season. Now I'm not even thinking about it. The only matches I've been in this year have been with my fellow expansion teams. Against the veteran teams......forget it.......I've been bashed by them. Looks like I'll have to wait another season or two and get some age before I even think playoffs. |

As for the this match, damn Curry and Medel didn't last long as champs but heck of a homecoming gift for Frissina as he kept the BW title in the family. Heck of a debut from John Holmes, he's the fighter of the match for us, Those will probably be the only two wins I get from him but hey he's already matched the combined win total of his predecessors. Speaking of them, I must say Mr. Witherspoon's career isn't off to the greatest of starts and I don't much like his chances of future success at the moment. Jeez, it's been a high scoring round so far with three teams breaking the 50 point mark.

A title for Elmer Ray, however briefly. Chitalada shows signs of life during his torpid sophomore season. Enrique Sanchez continues to amaze me. A lot of bang for the buck with him. He and Lausse are both going great guns considering their competiton. Lopez got a couple of big wins. Moore and Ganigan go to pre-prime. Hoping I can pick up a few points on the dreaded Beavers so I have a puncher's shot at them in the last week.
