Not only did the Cowboys lose but they lose in one of the worse possible ways. All Romo has to do is hold on to the ball and Gramatica hits that FG with no problem and the Cowboys probably win. That hurts, I feel sorry for all the Cowboy fans out there.

Congrats SAL on picking up your first win against a veteran team maybe this will be the spark y'all need to start a Bears like run next season. Hopefully, y'all can bring the same game next week against Tomato City.

Thanks Romy. I'll do the best I can to fire-up the McCune boys. I hope we don't spend all week having one big party over this win. McCune has been barely averaging 5 KOs per match. We managed a season high 10 against the Barbarians. I'd like to think the new additions played a part in this victory.

Well, Akeem Anifowoshe didn't help at all but Dave Kotey and Julian Lorcey sure did. You guys sure picked the right time for a power surge.

Now, all that is left is for us to do our parts and hope y'all and the Haymakers can provide us the chance we need.

Sorry I couldnt post earlier...throwing up constantly since the end of the game. Words cant describe the empty sick feeling I have. My nerves are shot to hell. By the way, good game Matt. I still feel pretty good about my Left Jab guys..I got in a few good victories against the big bully beavers..lol. I have to hope that Shavers and Tucker will do Ok in the season ending individual tourney. Thats all I have to look forward to now. OOOps...gotta go throw up again. See ya later guys. LOL Oh yeah, congrats Sal on your impressive victory. You have had a good run for an expansion club. I think we will start to make these vets sweat a little next year. Peace.

Nice win Romy. This should easily put you in 1st place in the West once Tomato City gets smacked around by the Haymakers. I have serious doubts that my team will be able to scrape together 40 pts. Most of the sims I ran went horribly bad for the Tomatoes. Then we'll just have to see how it plays out next week.

Actually, 17 wins w/ 12 KO's equals 46, not 42 (typo)
Wow, any way you slice it, I consider this a big upset. My guys just didn't match up well against the Haymakers on paper and I was expecting to be embarrassed.

Hey Chris, I guess the first intra-Connecticut Champions now reside in New Haven.

Congrats man, you were worried about getting to 40 and you scored 46 and now you have a 6 point cushion to play with next week. Should be a interesting week, I look forward to seeing how it goes down.

Wow. Carpentier lost twice and my usual strength at the lower weights failed me. I feel like the cowboys.

Good look in the post season Dave!

He's not in the post season yet if the MMS can pull out another big effort like they did this week and I smash the Barbarians I still got a shot I only need to outscore Dave by 7. It doesn't seem likely but it is still possible.

Yeah, that was a pretty close back and forth match until it got to
Jesus Meneses and then your guys just fall apart. If only y'all could have pulled out a couple of those.

A tentative draft order has been posted in the draft thread on post #3.
It will be subject to change after Week 10 results.

Here's a link for the Draft Order.
